About Gladwin Mathews

Graduate of Andrews University and a former faculty of Spicer Memorial College now Spicer Adventist University Pune, India. Migrated to the United States as missionary and worked with the Lake Union Conference, MI for about two years. Later, moved to Washington, DC area and currently resides in Fairfax, VA. I completed my doctoral studies from Newburgh Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana. Currently I attend Herndon Seventh - Day Adventist church in Herndon, VA and also serve as an Elder & Lay Pastor. I am a published author of a book entitled "The 21st Century Nehemiah: From Cupbearer to Servant leader". This book is based on the leadership role of Nehemiah, a humble servant of God!

Welcome! to the ‘Glad Advent Ministries’ which is devoted to Evangelism and nurturing through the study of God’s Word. These studies are strongly committed to the Biblical teaching of the Word of God that would help build your life from the inside out. It is also my effort to refute the false teachings of other world religions and their false religious philosophies. It is my goal to teach the Word of God and introduce people to the ‘Good News’ of Jesus Christ through Glad Advent Ministries.

Glad Advent Ministries also promotes:

  • (A) God is the all-powerful, all-knowing Creator and Ruler of the universe,
  • (B) that Bible is true in all that it teaches,
  • (C) that salvation is a free gift of God that cannot be earned by works, and
  • (D) that all Christians have a responsibility to share their faith with others.

My prayer is that you will nurture and grow strong in faith each day to the glory of God and Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. May God richly bless you as you go through the contents of this website!.
